Unlike traditional ERP systems, the platform is designed around product information. Its purpose is to collect, organize, and reuse the data required throughout the export process—from internal administration to customs declarations, regulatory compliance, and customer documentation.

We are developing a software platform that helps exporters prepare the information required by EU customs and other import regulations. The goal is to make exporting easier, reduce mistakes, and avoid delays caused by missing or incorrect documentation.
The system is still under development, and I am looking for a small number of companies willing to test it with real products and provide practical feedback.

The exact priorities will be influenced by feedback from our early partners and the products they export.
It is a fair question. There are already many ERP systems available, including excellent open-source alternatives.
We evaluated that approach carefully, but ultimately concluded that adapting an existing ERP would require compromises that would limit the platform for years to come.
Instead, we chose to build a modern platform from the ground up.

Our goal is to build an information platform that remains useful as international trade, technology and regulations continue to change.
Rodex is built around a number of independent frameworks.
Each framework solves a specific domain while remaining fully
integrated with the rest of the platform.
Here are some of them:
Many software systems contain assumptions that seem obvious today: that goods move only on Earth, that warehouses are operated by humans, that products are transported by trucks or ships, or that business is conducted only in national currencies.
We have deliberately avoided building these assumptionsinto the platform.
Instead, the underlying architecture is designed to describe products, locations, transport, storage and business processes in a more general way. This allows the platform to adapt as technology evolves, rather than requiring fundamental redesigns every time the world changes.
For example, the platform already supports concepts such as configurable coordinate systems, transport routes independent of any particular planet, environmental operating limits, machine-readable product data, and APIs intended for automation by both software and robotic systems.
Most users will never notice these capabilities - and they do not need to. They simply make the platform more adaptable, more durable, and better prepared for whatever international trade looks like in the coming decades.
